I’m Charlotte — a Registered Dietitian certified in Intuitive Eating and focusing on body image acceptance and building a positive relationship with food and movement. As someone who has struggled myself, I want to help people who have suffered from body image issues, disordered eating and a turbulent relationship with food and wellness as a whole. I want to help you learn using an anti-diet & health at every size approach.

I’m Natalie — A Registered Dietitian, yoga teacher, and mom. I have a Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics and I have worked primarily with vulnerable populations since 2016.I lead with kindness, non-judgment, and curiosity as a path toward greater self-knowledge and empowerment. I am comfortable sitting in the in-between as we explore current and past behaviors and consider next steps together. I look forward to working together toward your goals!

Why is it so hard to feed ourselves?

We do not eat in a vacuum.

Nutrition is so much more than just fuel and health & wellbeing cannot and should not be quantified by a number on the scale. In our counseling sessions we aim to help people connect eating, movement and self care with joy, flexibility and freedom using an individualized health at every size (HAES) and anti diet culture approach. We aim to provide a safe space to get in touch with your needs and help you learn to nourish yourself without guilt and shame. No matter what size body you reside in, you deserve to eat and to enjoy it. You deserve respectful health care and support to help you find your way to pleasurable, tasty and satisfying meals!

Micro managing bodies and turning food in to a math problem to be constantly solving has taken the joy out of eating and replaced it will guilt fear and shame- a cycletaht can keep you stuck for years Whether you have a chronic condition, hate cooking, have dieted in the past, are dieting now or have been told so much conflicting nutrition information you feel like your head is spinning, you are not alone! Our nutrition counseling services are provided from a weight inclusive and HAES approach, generally using intuitive eating principles as a foundation and guide.

Services

1 : 1 Coaching

We know how frustrating flippant advice regarding nutrition from doctors, the internet and let’s face it almost anyone can be. This would leave anyone feeling quite discouraged! Our 1:1 sessions are here to help you feel empowered to navigate the world of diet culture and nutrition by getting in tune with your individual needs and honing these skills over time. 1:1 Coaching with Charlotte or Natalie will be about me getting to know you and you getting to know you! That way, together we can work towards your unique nutrition journey.

Sessions are virtual and include limited email support, care coordination with tools/worksheets/ handouts and journal reviews as appropriate.

1 : 1 Coaching

  • 1:1 sessions are here to help you feel empowered to navigate the world of diet culture and nutrition by getting in tune with your individual needs and honing these skills over time with a dietitian who will take the time to really get to know YOU! One off 1:1 coaching visits are a good fit if you feel fairly stable in your relationship to food and just need some extra support navigating small changes in your life or need some quick questions answered. In order for this type of coaching to be effective we require that you book at least 1 initial visit and a follow up.

  • 1:1 Coaching with us is all about getting to know you and you getting to know you! That way, together we can work towards your unique nutrition journey. Sessions are virtual and include limited email support, care coordination and tools/worksheets/ handouts and journal reviews as appropriate. Initial sessions are 60-75 minutes long. Follow up sessions are 30-35 minutes.

3-Month Package

  • Are you sick of dieting? Are you ready for a new/different approach to the way to care for yourself? Our 3-month package can get the ball rolling on establishing goals and getting aquatnted with this new approach. This package is perfect if you are ready for a change and would like to dip your toe into a new approach but aren’t sure what HAES is or insure it is for you. This package is also great if you have already started your journey and just need extra support!

    • 6 sessions + option to extend at a discounted rate

    • 3 months of prepaid virtual nutrition counseling which includes one 60-75 minute initial nutrition counseling session + 5 30-35 minute follow up appointments

    • Intuitive eating and nutrition handouts, videos, meal planning tools/assistance, as needed

    • Intuitive eating food journal reviews during sessions with personalized suggestions, when appropriate

6-Month Package

  • My 6-Month package is for those who are ready to start their commitment to meeting their goals while having half a year of weekly support. This package is great if you know you’re ready to quit diet culture for good. Does quitting diets and learning to trust your body sound daunting? This is where we come in! This is not an over night process and is certainly NOT easy to do on your own. Consistent support will help!

  • One Initial Consultation + Weekly 30-35 minute meetings.

    12 sessions + option to extend at a discounted rate

    6 months of prepaid nutrition counseling online which includes one initial nutrition counseling session + 11 follow up appointments

    Duration of sessions: Initial 60-75 minutes + 2, 30-35 minute follow-ups each month

    Intuitive eating and nutrition handouts, meal planning tools as needed

    Intuitive eating food journal reviews during sessions with personalized suggestions, when appropriate

    Basic email support between sessions during work hours

    Coordination of care with your therapist and/or other pertinent members of your treatment team, when applicable

12-Month Package

  • A year long journey together starts here. Through ups, downs, pits + peaks we will work together for 12 months weekly.

  • One Initial Consultation + Bi-Weekly30- 35 minute meetings.

    24 sessions + option to extend at a discounted rate

    6 months of prepaid nutrition counseling online which includes one initial nutrition counseling session + 24 follow up appointments

    Duration of sessions: Initial 60-75 minutes + 2, 30-35 minute follow-ups each month

    Intuitive eating and nutrition handouts, videos, meal planning tools, recipes as needed

    Intuitive eating food journal reviews during sessions with personalized suggestions, when appropriate

    Unlimited email support between sessions

    Coordination of care with your therapist and/or other pertinent members of your treatment team, when applicable

What does Nutrition Counseling look like?

Nutrition philosophy: Nutrition is and should be highly individualized. In our sessions we will work together to identify values and goals to decide on a path together. This is your life and your sessions, we are not here to tell you what to do but rather to help you learn to confidently guide your self. Our goal is for you to not need us!

In our intro session we will begin with getting to know a bit about each other to decide if we are a good fit. We will go over goals and visions, and work to discover the root of your challenges.

After purchasing an initial consultation, you may purchase follow up sessions individually, or in packages, which include discounted follow-up sessions. Once you have completed a follow up package, you may renew, change to a different package, or move to scheduling individual sessions.

Working with a Registered Dietitian ensures you are accessing the best evidence-based medical nutrition therapy from experts in the field. We work on managing risk for chronic disease, as well as managing existing chronic disease throughout the lifespan. Areas of expertise include:

Not currently.  However, We would be happy to provide you with a Superbill that you can submit to your health insurance company or use toward a Health Saving Account (HSA), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA), or for tax purposes.
